GEMS Story Project

GEMS: Generational Experience, Meaningful Stories

Do you have treasured family members with great stories to tell?

Do you want to know more about the countries and cultures your ancestors came from, or the stories, struggles and accomplishments of your elders?

Would you like to build a family tree, but only have a few names and dates?

Too often, it’s only later in life that we realize there’s so much we don’t know about our elders and ancestors, our countries and cultures— the stories that connect us to the past.

Often we end up wishing we had asked our parents and grandparents more questions about their lives. And when we think about our own lives and legacies, we think of all the stories we have to tell, but it can seem like an overwhelming task to write them all down.

Welcome to the GEMS Story Project, where we tell our stories and pass them on to the next generation.

Through her classes and services, Kym Kuzmic teaches people how to record and share their most cherished family stories and to preserve their multigenerational love and connection.
